From just a small fraction of NAICONS’ microbial collection, the Molecules Gateway lists far more molecules than those described after 70 years of worldwide efforts.
Thousands of extracts from microbial cultures were analyzed by high-resolution mass spectrometry and annotated through a proprietary automated workflow. The resulting Molecules Gateway includes 150k molecules produced by strains belonging to nearly 100 actinomycete genera and spanning most biosynthetic classes.

Subscribers can search for desired molecules using different parameters, see which extracts contain those molecules, which strains produce them and in which relative amount.
Users can also see how many different molecules are present in a given extract and compare the composition of different extracts.
Notably, molecules, extracts and producing microorganisms are available and easy to access.

The DEMO version includes all search functionalities on a limited data set (ca 5400 molecules from 40 extracts), access is granted for 30 days from registration. Subscription to the Molecules Gateway allows one year of unlimited access to the complete data set (one user at a time for each subscription).
